Let’s have fun with food and make some really great recipes that turn into art we can eat!  We’ll decorate cake, create hors oeuvres, fancy desserts, real mac & cheese, and have a party every day as we make and eat meals & snacks, do some fun food art and build our own recipe books while we learn some things about the Science of Cooking and how food gets from the farm to our plates!  

No nuts or artificial sweeteners will be used. We cannot guarantee that ingredients used are not prepared in a way that does not involve nuts or other allergens. Sugar, meat, cheese and packaged goods are used for some recipes.

CHILDREN WITH LIFE THREATENING FOOD ALLERGIES SHOULD NOT BE ENROLLED IN THESE CLASSES.

There’s no doubt about it – kids love to create!   By practicing the basics of art making, they experience a whole new way of seeing the world and expressing themselves.  We’ll learn about different kinds of art through time, then we’ll draw, paint, collage & sculpt, and create beaded and handmade projects, bringing kids a fresh and fun way to see their art and a result they will be proud to show off.
