ENROLLMENT


Your child is considered to be enrolled in our courses only upon receipt of both:

                        1.  A fully completed and hand signed registration form for each course they are taking.

                        2.  Full payment cleared to our account


Our class size is small (5 to 8 children) so that we may provide individual attention to every child,  As a result they fill quickly, Enrollment is confirmed in the order in which we receive completed registration forms & payment. 

 

PAYMENT

 

We accept credit card payments through Paypal. There is a handling charge of 3.5% (minimum $7.50) on any transaction made through the Paypal system. This is a non-refundable fee that is collected by Paypal, and appears on your invoice or in your shopping cart as "shipping and handling" or "handling fee."


Payments made by check, cash or money order incur no handling fee. Checks returned to us for any reason incur a $50.00 fee.

 

COMMUNICATION & TECHNOLOGY

 

If your child uses a cell phone to communicate with you, they will be expected to use it only for that purpose, and not for email, games or other personal uses during studio time.  Please do not allow your child to bring portable video games or any other technology with them to the studio.

 

Our studio emergency cell number is 201-835-5832  if you need to reach us or your child while they are with us.

FOOD


Please provide a snack & drink for your child if you choose, bearing in mind that many children have food allergies, especially to peanuts, tree nuts, artificial sweeteners and shellfish, and make your choices with consideration for this possibility in your child's studio mates.  Children will be reminded not to share snacks with one another.

BEHAVIOR

 

We have an Absolure Zero Tolerance policy for disrespectful, disruptive or bullying behavior. Children who exhibit these behaviors will be expelled without notice or refund.  Foul or abusive language will not be tolerated.  Siblings and friends who are not enrolled may not accompany students to classes or studio time - no exceptions.  Parents of enrolled children are welcome to observe - please make arrangements with us in advance.

 

WITHDRAWAL / REFUNDS

 

Requests for withdrawal made at least 30 days in advance of the start of the course will be eligible for a 50% refund.  Refunds will not be given for any reason after that time..  An administration fee of $50. - 100. will be deducted from each refund, and handling charges are not refundable.  Please allow at least 4 - 6 weeks for process of refunds.


Full credit may be applied to a future enrollment in lieu of 50% refund


If Artsy Smartsy cancels a course, the full tuition will be refunded or applied to another course (your choice)


Student absences are non-refundable.  We do not offer make up classes, except in cases of bad weather, instructor absence or in case of emergency that causes cancellation of a class session.  Make up classes occur only during the same period with the same instructor.
